Take Note

  • Census forms along with registration money are due to your District Commissioner on or before: October 1, 2000.
    Units keep $4.00.

  • Increasing number of facilities used by Girl Guides of Canada are now requesting a signed waiver along with the proof of insurance before consenting to their premises being used. National Council has advised that Guiders must not sign these waivers but should instead send them to National Council where they will be signed. Guiders should remember that when signing anything they should sign Girl Guides of Canada per and then their signature.

  • Provincial Council as well as Area Council have decided that girls volunteering for High School Community Involvement hours (for High School Credits) are left to the discretion of individual Division/District/Units. They are to decide how to proceed with each individual applicant. Permission slips must be obtained from Parent/Guardian for outings and that each girl is to receive a copy of the Code of Conduct before starting in a Unit.
**Check with your District Commissioner to see if your District has a policy.**
